Like many organisations the EVA has been greatly affected by the Covid 19 virus and the restrictions and measures to cope with the pandemic.

The EVA management committee continue to meet and we have:

1. Finalised a structure for the future

2. Organised the Emerald Citizenship awards

3. Have been highly involved in the future planning, management and organisation of the Hills Hub.

4.  Developed and managed The Hills Pen Pal project in collaboration with the Hills Hub and Emerald primary School.

5. Applied for funding to cover the insurance of EVA activities

6. Thanks to Peter Maloney we have published a newsletter each month and organising the website and Facebook page

7. The communications committee. Holley Adams has been appointed as our communications officer, managing the website and digital presence.

8. Increased our membership to 100 people.
