The Emerald Village Committee has, as its vision for the future, a community that is represented by a vibrant and inclusive Committee that embraces all groups and the broad spectrum of community views and interests.

Mission

To communicate with Council and the community to protect and enhance the unique character of Emerald as a place of great natural beauty and a caring community where residents live and work in happiness and safety.

EVA submission to the Cardinia SC 2023-24 Budget

In May 2023 the EVA has prepared the following response to the draft Cardinia SC budget.

Submission to the Cardinia Shire Council Draft Climate Change Adaptation Strategy

In September of 2019, a climate emergency was declared across Cardinia Shire Council and a draft Climate Change AdaptationStrategy developed.

The EVA congratulates the Shire on the positive steps it is taking in respect to climate change and climate change adaptation and submitted a formal response on March 17 2022.
